SailFun started in 2007 as a list of satnav coordinates for UK sailing clubs, made for a few friends who drove to open meetings and kept getting lost on the last mile to the club entrance.
It still does the same job: help sailors find the next event worth travelling to, and find the club when they get there.
What’s here
- Upcoming events: open meetings, regattas and class events at UK clubs, picked by hand each month. Entries are always made with the host club.
- Club guides: where each club is, what they sail and how to get afloat there.
Get your event listed
Listings are free for sailing clubs, class associations and sailing charities. Send us the date, venue and a link to the notice of race or entry page through the contact page. We check every listing before it goes up.
If something in a club guide is out of date, tell us the same way and we’ll fix it.
How the listings work
The events on SailFun are managed in EventKiln and shown here with the Display Eventbrite Events plugin. Clubs can use the same tools to list their events, and take entries, on their own websites. Find out how.
